Devious Journal Entry

I watched as a small nation rose above the rest
I was there when this nation was put through many tests
I was there when everything was booming
From nothing it rose, and it was a great nation indeed
This nation was simply wonderful, with a righteous king
And his glorious legacy, his valiant knights, went into the fray
And came out from the battle scarred, and lost that day
And as they lost, the sky turned black
As the sky turned dark, hope started to dim
I fear, that the light will not break the horizon ever again
